The goal of this project was to create a poster with a specimen of a typeface and information regarding its history and characteristics. For this poster, Gill Sans was chosen. A typeface steeped in history, Gill Sans has remained prolific since its conception in 1928. I find the nod to Roman type in its design to be especially compelling.
