This project involved the creation of narrative imagery for a short story from the book Incidences by Daniil Kharms. It involved research into the history and context in which these stories were created. I used repetition and abstraction of numbers to echo the narrative of the story and emphasize its disorienting nature. The imagery was all created by hand using cut paper and is layered to create shadows and depth.
