The objective of this project was to create a book design for an excerpt from Jan Tschichold’s The New Typography. In particular, there is a focus on grid design, typographic hierarchy, and the use of type as image. The final product uses a design that is informed by Tschichold’s writings and opinions which he expresses within the text.
